What is SnowCloud Cumulus and how does it work?

SnowCloud Cumulus is a resort operating platform. One integrated system to run all aspects of your business. SnowCloud allows you to create and sell your various resort related products online, in-person or in-app, and to manage your businesses reporting, accounting, guest services and fulfillment needs all from one system. SnowCloud Cumulus allows your guests to manage their resort experiences, make purchases and even access your lifts all from the SnowCloud provided resort branded guest app.

How can I get SnowCloud Cumulus for my resort?

How much does SnowCloud Cumulus cost?

Our fees include a flat rate of $299 per month.On top of that there is a 5% transaction fee automatically deducted from each transaction that goes through the system. This fee includes all credit card, bank, transaction and processing fees for your online payments. When setting up each of your individual products in the system you can decide how much of this fee you want to absorb or pass through to the purchaser.

Is SnowCloud Cumulus PCI Compliant or Certified?

Yes, Cumulus is certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant. Our SnowPay payment processing is powered by Stripe, the #1 rated payment processor in the world. This means that all your data and customer information is always being handled in the most secure ways possible.

Can I take cash transactions in SnowCloud Cumulus?

SnowCloud is optimized for cashless payments and accepts all major credit/debit and gift cards, as well as Google and Apple Pay. Cash payment can be accepted outside of the system if you so choose.

How long are your contracts for?

All SnowCloud fees are billed on a monthly basis, there are no long-term contracts, and you may cancel your SnowCloud account at any time.

Are there any licensing fees or additional features not included?

There are no licensing fees for using SnowCloud Cumulus and you may have as many users and devices using SnowCloud as you choose. Additionally, SnowCloud was built to be living technology, meaning that the system will get smarter and better over time. Each new functionality roll out will automatically be added to all active instances of SnowCloud and you will never have to pay more for additional features.

Are there any additional hardware items needed to run SnowCloud Cumulus?

SnowCloud's Admin Portal can be accessed from any device with an internet connection. The Operator App is built to run on iPhones version 7 and above. No additional hardware or peripheral devices are needed to use SnowCloud.
